Myths Understood: A Six-Week Museum Adventure
We’re taking our interactive tours and going…after school!
We invite kids 8-13 to join us for this six-week class inspired by great stories. We’ll do two sessions at the American Museum of Natural History and four at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Each class offers interactive adventures inspired by a different story; the last sessions will have kids designing their own tours—family and friends will be invited to enjoy them at a later date.
Six-week session: $300. Includes museum admission and all materials.
Please note: This is a drop-off class. Adults are welcome to pay their own admission and stay in the museum.
Sundays at 2:00 PM or Mondays at 3:30 PM, starting the week of January 6. Advance registration required.
The Argosy Experience
Love rare books and antique maps? Come with us to the Argosy Bookstore, founded in 1925 and now in its third-generation of family ownership. Featuring antique maps and prints, autographs, and more, the bookstore offers a rare opportunity for bibliophiles to tour the store with an expert, shop, then have a private workshop on topics such as Collecting (learn what makes certain items collectible), or Autographs. Then, start putting together your own collection. By request.
Interested in putting together a workshop or afterschool class based on one of our tours? Please contact us to find out how!
Present Tense (i.e., tense about giving presents?) No more! Choose a Fable & Lark GiftTag!
A GiftTag works like a gift certificate–choose any of our offerings to give to someone, and we’ll send the recipient an adorable GiftTag with all the details. (You can also send them the GiftTag and let them choose the program themselves.) Present perfect!
