7 Larks: A storied writing adventure every day
7 Larks works with kids to develop confidence in their writing, to explore different forms of the written word, and to enjoy the process of writing and creating during individual or group writing remote sessions.
During the sessions, kids can explore forms of writing from fantasy to realistic fiction to poetry and journalism. With fiction, we focus on character development, narrative structure, adding descriptive language, making interesting word choices, what information the author needs to know, planning the story, and of course, grammar and punctuation.
We also offer sessions geared to helping kids with the kind of writing they’re likely to encounter in school, such as opinion writing and book summaries. In addition, we are happy to put together small-group sessions based on a topic of your choice.
Sessions are offered in six, eight and 10-week packages–email for details: info@fableandlark.com

Myth Takes: Roman Mythology
Saturday, April 9, 2022: 3:00 PM EST – Recommended for ages 7 and up.
We’ll discuss four Roman myths, looking at their relevance to Roman culture and their similarity to and difference from other myths. We’ll also look at such questions as: Why didn’t the Romans come up with their own names for the gods? Why are there so many obstacles in mythology? And why are we still reading those myths today? Email info@fableandlark.com for info or to sign up.
